Terms and Conditions
ALDER TECHNOLOGY LIMITED t/a Affiliated Consultants (“ATL”)
STANDARD TERMS & CONDITIONS OF SALE

 

Payment
Payment is due in full by the 20th of the month following the date of invoice
Payments by credit card shall incur a 3.5% charge over and above the invoice price if not paid in full
within 7 days of date of invoice
If payment in full is not made by the due date interest shall be charged on any overdue amount
payable by the Customer (including the 3.5% credit card charge detailed above), together with actual
costs, legal or otherwise, incurred by ATL for the enforcement of payment of such overdue amounts.
Interest charged on overdue accounts shall be at the rate of 5% above the then current overdraft
rate of the Westpac Bank

 

Warranties
Goods supplied are subject to the manufacturers’ warranties only (if any). ATL shall pass on the
benefit of those warranties to the Customer provided however that it shall not be liable to the
Customer in terms of the manufacturers’ warranties.
Any warranty claims or repairs undertaken by ATL on behalf of the Customer in terms of
manufacturers’ warranties shall be payable to ATL by the Customer.

 

Returns and cancellations
All cancellations of orders must be notified within 7 days of date of invoice
All returned goods must be unopened and unused in pristine packaging.
A restocking fee may apply.


Complaints/Account Queries
All complaints regarding finished goods or account queries must be received in writing by ATL within
7 days of receipt of goods or invoices.
ATL shall have no responsibility or liability for any complaint/query received after the 7 day period
On receipt of the complaint/query within the 7 day period ATL and the Customer shall meet as soon
as reasonably possible and in good faith try to resolve the dispute between themselves or by using
informal dispute resolution techniques such as negotiation or mediation
If the dispute is not resolved within 14 working days of the receipt of the complaint/query then
either party may refer the dispute to the Disputes Tribunal or the District Court

 

Quotations
All quotations shall be in writing and must be signed as accepted by the Customer
Quotations are valid until 4pm on the 7th day from date of quotation
ATL shall use its best endeavours to ensure availability of goods during the quotation’s validity
period.
ATL accepts no responsibility to the Customer in the event that such goods are unavailable or
discontinued at the time of ordering


Risk and Retention of Title
Ownership and legal and equitable title to the goods remains with ATL until the goods are paid for in
full.
Risk of any loss, damages or deterioration in respect of the goods shall pass to the Customer on delivery
